Welcome to the 5 Nations Health Protection Conference Website
The aim of the 5 Nations Health Protection Conference is to provide a focus for Continuing Professional Development for: Consultants in Communicable Disease Control; Consultants, Specialists and Trainees in Public Health; Scientists, Health Protection Nurses and their colleagues in the epidemiology and control of infectious, non-infectious diseases and environmental hazards.
The conference will address important public health issues that have arisen since the last meeting and provide fresh perspectives on established areas of disease prevention and control. It includes keynote lectures, oral and poster presentations.
The conference is organised jointly by staff from Public Health England, Public Health Wales, Public Health Agency in Northern Ireland, Health Protection Scotland and the Health Protection Surveillance Centre for the Republic of Ireland.
Corona Virus Update COVID-19
Conference Cancellation, 17th – 18th June 2021, Dublin
It is with great disappointment that we have to inform you that due to the continuing on-going unpredictability of COVID-19 restrictions, the conference due to take place from Thursday 17th – Friday 18th June 2021 at Trinity College, Dublin, has been cancelled. We feel an important aspect of this long-standing event is the opportunity for all cadres of health protection staff to present their work in a supportive environment – along with it acting as a forum for discussions and interactions on key issues.
For delegates who’s registrations and abstracts were carried over from 2020, we will process refunds within the next 10 working days and will confirm once this has been actioned.
If you have made independent accommodation arrangements, then please check the cancellation policy with the accommodation provider directly.
